Paula Alvarez Promoted to Director of Production – Gilbert

We’re thrilled to announce the promotion of Paula Alvarez to Director of Production. In this role, Paula will lead Gilbert’s production team to represent the Gilbert brand and deliver products and services of exceptional quality to our trade show, retail, hospitality, corporate, and residential clients. She will also oversee Gilbert’s manufacturing and warehouse facilities to increase efficiencies and incorporate new technologies to continue to establish Gilbert as the premier destination for solutions to our clients’ needs. 

“No matter what role she’s played at Gilbert, Paula has always proven to be one of the greatest assets of our team,” said Barry Ballen, President and CEO of Gilbert. “As someone with a wealth of experience, passion, and drive, Paula is the perfect person to take our production team to the next level and deliver excellence to our clients.”

Paula joined Gilbert in 2005 as a Logistics Clerk and was quickly promoted to Logistics Manager after demonstrating impressive problem solving and leadership qualities. For the next 12 years, Paula led Gilbert’s logistics and warehouse operations as she continued to take on more responsibility and provide increasing value to the company. 

In 2017, Paula was promoted to Assistant Director of Production to help oversee Gilbert’s production operations while maintaining her logistics and warehousing responsibilities. When the Director of Production role became available, Paula’s desire to help other team members and continuously set new standards made her an obvious choice for the position. 

“I’m honored to take on this role and represent the standards of the Gilbert brand. I think people have a sense of trust in me and know that when they come to me, I’m going to give them a solution,” says Paula. “I’m motivated by the challenge to make things better and am excited to be a part of the company’s growth.”
